Adamantis Guitar Orchestra è un progetto artistico di alto profilo che si colloca nel panorama della musica orchestrale contemporanea, distinguendosi per un organico interamente basato sulla chitarra e per una forte identità compositiva. L’ensemble nasce da un’idea di Raffaello Indri, chitarrista e compositore con una lunga esperienza in ambito rock, folk e acustico, noto per la sua attività con Elvenking, Frankenstein Rooster, IT’sALIE e Harduo, nonché per il suo ruolo di docente e direttore del Laboratorio FVG dell’Accademia Lizard.

L’orchestra è composta da musicisti provenienti da alcune delle più interessanti realtà della scena musicale italiana, tra cui 40 Fingers, Playa Desnuda, Elettra Storm, Rakinua, Last Warning, Killing Club, Starbynary e Teralyst.
L’organico completo conta 11 elementi: 8 chitarre acustiche, 2 chitarre classiche e percussioni, con la possibilità di adattare la formazione a seconda delle esigenze artistiche e logistiche dell’evento.

Identità artistica e visione musicale

Il repertorio di Adamantis Guitar Orchestra è fondato principalmente su composizioni originali, scritte e arrangiate da Raffaello Indri. La scrittura musicale si sviluppa come una sintesi tra:

tradizioni etniche e popolari
linguaggi della musica contemporanea
suggestioni cinematografiche e orchestrali

L’utilizzo esclusivo delle chitarre consente all’ensemble di esplorare un’ampia gamma timbrica, costruendo architetture sonore stratificate, dinamiche e profondamente evocative. Ogni brano è concepito come un percorso narrativo, capace di coinvolgere l’ascoltatore in un’esperienza immersiva e coerente.

Produzioni discografiche

Nel 2022 l’ensemble pubblica Cerclaria Lux per Folkest Dischi (IRD), un lavoro che rappresenta la piena maturità del progetto:

Grazie a una struttura organizzativa ottimizzata, Adamantis Guitar Orchestra è oggi in grado di garantire flessibilità produttiva, adattandosi a contesti culturali differenti senza compromettere la qualità artistica.
Il progetto si rivolge a festival, teatri, rassegne musicali e istituzioni culturali che ricercano una proposta originale, autorevole e capace di coniugare ricerca musicale, accessibilità e forte identità scenica.

Adamantis Guitar Orchestra

Adamantis Guitar Orchestra is a high-profile artistic project within the contemporary orchestral music scene, distinguished by an ensemble built entirely around the guitar and by a strong, clearly defined compositional identity. The project was conceived by Raffaello Indri, guitarist and composer with extensive experience across rock, folk, and acoustic music, known for his work with Elvenking, Frankenstein Rooster, IT’sALIE, and Harduo, as well as for his role as lecturer and Director of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Laboratory at Lizard Academy.

The orchestra brings together musicians from some of the most active and respected projects in the Italian music scene, including 40 Fingers, Playa Desnuda, Elettra Storm, Rakinua, Last Warning, Killing Club, Starbynary, and Teralyst.
The full ensemble consists of 11 musicians: 8 acoustic guitars, 2 classical guitars, and percussion, with a flexible setup that can be adapted to different artistic and logistical requirements.
